  1. Hi Diana, your portfolio is very creative! I am currently applying for a public relations program and I want to create a portfolio to show. Is creating an online portfolio different from creating an actual one in terms of content? I would like to follow the same format as you but am unsure of the content I should use

  2. Hello! Thanks for your feedback! An online portfolio allows you to be even more creative and display more bits of your work, integrating everything from your academic-work experience. In a physical format, if you go to a job interview and present your portfolio, my suggestion is to include but the clippings and samples of your work that are relevant for that specific job. For instance, I wouldn’t include my academic thesis in the physical portfolio.

As for the online portfolio, go for the content that reflects your area of expertise. If you have published some articles, you should include them in clippings. If you organised some events, you should mention the event and describe your role. Just like you’d do in a CV, but more visually appealing and with links to the original sources.

Good luck in your application! 🙂

  3. Hello Diana, I came across your personal portfolio while surfing the net, and I’m impressed by your work, but mostly by your infographics! It’s brilliant!
I’d like to have one too..it’s really helpful!
